Calendar Rack
This project included a unique problem to solve. This rack is merchandised with calendars, which only sell for a limited amount of months. This fixture had to be flexible enough to change it's racking system several times throughout the year.
It also had to fit within a very strict floor-space footprint of 24"x48".
In order to accommodate the size of the calendars, I designed the upright column of the rack as a hexagon, which presented the calendars at an angle to each other so they could be pulled out of the wire racks without running into the other items.
Next, I created a door at one side of the fixture that would open to give access to the storage area inside for placing the wire calendar racks when they're not being used.
